Cuvé di Cabernet Veneto I.G.T.

Grapes: Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon
Production zone: Veneto
Year:
Alcohol level: 12.0%
Serving temperature: 16° - 18° C
Recommended glass: a large Bordeaux-style glass, narrowing at the rim
The grape varieties undergo vinification separately, according to the traditional method for a red wine. The must remains in contact with the skins for 10-12 days, fermenting in temperature-controlled vats. It then goes into special stainless steel tanks, where it completes its maturation. Subsequently, the two wines are blended together and the product is prepared for bottling.

Tasting notes
Ruby red in color with purplish reflections, this wine brims over with buoyant, fresh youthfulness on the nose, with its classic but well-modulated notes of bell peppers, typical of Cabernet Franc, and those of red and black berry fruits, characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon. On the palate, it displays admirable balance, its refreshing acidity set off by good fruit and gentle tannins that merely enhance the wine’s roundedness.

Serving suggestions
It makes an excellent accompaniment for pasta dishes with sauces, bean or pulse soups, white or red meats, salted pork meats of all kinds and cheeses.
